Stiesdal Offshore is a specialized technology provider focused on floating wind foundations for deep-water deployment. We design and license standardized floating foundation systems that enable offshore wind projects to be developed and deployed at gigawatt scale.
Stiesdal Offshore builds on more than four decades of experience in wind energy development. Our engineering heritage is rooted in the Danish Concept, the robust, three-bladed wind turbine design pioneered by Henrik Stiesdal in the late 1970s.
That design became the global standard because it was industrializable, robust, simple to manufacture, and easy to maintain.
Today, we apply the same engineering logic to floating wind. We treat the floating foundation as a standardized industrial component. By prioritizing simplicity and repeatability, we enable floating wind to follow the same cost-reduction trajectory that transformed onshore wind over the past forty years.
The members of Stiesdal Offshore’s leadership team have played central roles in the development and scaling of the Danish wind industry. Their experience spans leadership positions, product development, and project execution across some of the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturers and offshore wind developers.

Stiesdal Group
Technology is governed by physics, but our company is built by people. Together with our colleagues across the Stiesdal Group, we work according to five core values that guide how we design, collaborate, and deliver.
We act with Integrity
We practice Generosity
We aim for Simplicity
We choose Action
We show Respect
Stiesdal Offshore operates as part of the Stiesdal Group, alongside sister companies working across key areas of the energy transition. This collaboration broadens our perspective beyond individual technologies and projects.
We focus not only on how to generate power in deep water, but on how that power integrates into the wider green energy system.
Stiesdal A/S is a climate technology company built for industrial scale. The company develops and deploys critical infrastructure for the green transition, spanning floating offshore wind, green hydrogen, and biochar-based carbon removal.
