We are currently looking for an experienced load engineer to join our team working with fully coupled aero-hydro-servo-elastic simulations of our future floating foundations for offshore wind.

About the job

As part of our Integrated Load Analysis (ILA) team, you will be responsible for developing models and performing integrated load analyses of our floating foundation across all phases – from early FEED and detailed design to final certification, as well as for internal development.

Preferred primary work location is our Copenhagen office. But working from the other company locations (Aarhus or Give) is also an option.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Perform integrated load analyses for design development and verification
• Integrate commercial wind turbine model packages into our in-house workflows
• Post-process simulation data and validate load models using scale model measurements
• Contribute to our tool development for internal and commercial projects

Your profile

While you are self-driven and proactive by nature, you also know when to seek input and collaborate.

Ideally, you have several years of experience working with coupled hydro-structural-dynamic loads simulations of complex systems, and preferably you bring experience from the offshore wind industry.

Experience with integrated load analysis using tools like OrcaFlex, HAWC2, Bladed, FAST, or SIMO-Riflex, along with strong skills in data post-processing, is a clear advantage.

Proficiency in developing support tools in MATLAB or Python, and familiarity with design standards or wind turbine/project certification, is considered a plus.
