As part of our Integrated Load Analysis (ILA) team, you will be responsible for developing models and performing integrated load analyses of our floating foundation across all phases.
At Stiesdal Offshore, we offer the opportunity to make a real difference in the fight against climate change. Our team of creative thinkers is making a true impact and joining us could be the most exciting and fulfilling step in your career.
Are you up for the challenge?
We are currently looking for an experienced load engineer to join our team working with fully coupled aero-hydro-servo-elastic simulations of our future floating foundations for offshore wind.
As part of our Integrated Load Analysis (ILA) team, you will be responsible for developing models and performing integrated load analyses of our floating foundation across all phases – from early FEED and detailed design to final certification, as well as for internal development.
Preferred primary work location is our Copenhagen office. But working from the other company locations (Aarhus or Give) is also an option.
At Stiesdal Offshore, we value enthusiasm and a strong sense of ownership, and we are looking for a team member who brings the same mindset. You take initiative, enjoy responsibility, and are comfortable in a dynamic environment.
While you are self-driven and proactive by nature, you also know when to seek input and collaborate.
Ideally, you have several years of experience working with coupled hydro-structural-dynamic loads simulations of complex systems, and preferably you bring experience from the offshore wind industry.
Experience with integrated load analysis using tools like OrcaFlex, HAWC2, Bladed, FAST, or SIMO-Riflex, along with strong skills in data post-processing, is a clear advantage.
Proficiency in developing support tools in MATLAB or Python, and familiarity with design standards or wind turbine/project certification, is considered a plus.
An exciting and versatile role at Stiesdal Offshore, where you will engage with cutting-edge technologies and become an integral part of our mission. You will be a part of a culture characterized by good-spirited teamwork, engagement, a flat hierarchy, and continuous learning, centered on trust, transparency, and professionalism.
Benefits include five extra paid holidays per year, private health insurance, right to 24 weeks of paid parental leave for all genders, canteen, and membership in our staff association, Klimateers, where we spend time together outside of work.
These benefits are part of a broader commitment to supporting our people through all stages of life.
Whether it is fertility treatment, caring for sick children, menopause, or supporting grandparents who need your time and attention, our commitment is clear: we encourage our people to take time for themselves and their families when they need it.
We trust you to do what works for you.
